Nice effect and background but the text might need to be a tiny bit bigger and more bold...its a little hard to read...

humm.. intresting interface ..
so . i think it better if u
make the inverse effect ...
the topics start blured .. and when u put a cursor on
it change to clean view of the topic...

but is a nice and very usual interface !

I think this looks very nice, definitely a different look to it than a lot of flash i've seen. You might have added an animation to play in addition to the blurring when mousing over, even if it was as simple as a line moving underneath or perhaps a small descritpion with some movement to it, which would give it an extra kick. Nice concept and graphic.
